The goal, to establish harmony with nature while truly giving guests the opportunity to experience the culture of their surroundings. We strive to stay away from the feeling of a cookie cutter resort, and give our guests the real view of the country they are experiencing.

The Answers might not be at the beach…. but shouldn’t you at least check?
This place was fantastic!
We loved the food, staff was nice, etc. We stayed in a lodge on the sea, which was very romantic.
Our view was stunning: caribean sea view!
Don’t forgot to visit the locals in the village behind the hotel. The locals will guide you to their place where you can see how they live, eat their food (the coconut bread is delicious) en try some tours. We saw the famous red frog and sloths.

“Simply Amazing”
We went to Azul for our anniversary vacation, we never had a honeymoon. This was well worth the 11 year wait! I don’t have any negative thing to say about this paradise. Every worker is wonderful and work to make sure you have the perfect stay. All the waitress are very attentive and your water glass is always full. This is a secluded place we had pretty much every meal at the hotel. I had lobster on two different nights and it was delicious! My husband had the Barracuda special on one evening and he loved it! Every meal was excellent now that I am thinking about it. The beach is magnificent we walked down the beach every morning. The water is so wonderful and the fish you can see under your bungalows alone is incredible! Huge Angle fish were swimming around and we seen a sea cucumber. Don’t let the wonderful snorkeling opportunity around the resort stop you from going on an excursion because you would be missing out. I have to take a moment to thank Sebastian he is a wonderful guide we went snorkeling and surfing with him. We asked for his recommendations for what we should do one day and we went to the bat cave! WOW that was a crazy adventure into the jungle!!! He hit it out of the park every time!! I can’t say enough about this tropical paradise, it is simply amazing!
Room Tip: Any room has a wonderful view but the ones facing the sunrise are the best.
We stayed in an over-the-water cabana. It was clean, beautiful, comfortable and full of amenities. Air conditioning, (needed for us northerners!), satellite TV, comfy bed, private deck with seating and a private swim deck with a ladder in to the Caribbean. The beach is private and beautiful and set up with lounge areas. The restaurant served great food….no complaints at all! A nice variety including some traditional Panamanian dishes! The staff was very friendly, helpful and always interested in your day. We would love to return here one day!

We stayed for 4 nights on our honeymoon at Azul Paradise. It exceeded our expectations in every sense! The food was incredible, the rooms were beautiful and the quaint beach was exactly what we were looking for! There is a personal touch to everything at this small, hospitable hotel. With only 10 bungalows and a few beach houses everything is very intimate and personal. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the staff and shown to our overwater bungalow, where there were “mr. & mrs” coconuts waiting for us next to a iced bottle of champagne.
The beach bar has a fun vibe with relaxing music and the club house is set up for romantic breakfasts and candle lit dinners overlooking the ocean. If you are looking for a hideaway to enjoy quiet time on a quiet island with delicious gourmet food this is it!
We loved the private deck off of our room and the lounging chairs on the private beach. We even saw a sting ray swim below our deck. We did the dolphin and sloth tour one morning, it was unforgettable. Our Captain took just the two of us and created waves for the Dolphins to play in around us. He also sought out good views to see the sloths catching rays on their little island in the middle of the ocean.
The island is inhabited by a local group of people that settled there nearly 50 years ago. Many of them work at the hotel. We walked to their village and met some of the children and saw the school. They offer jungle tours through their community which we did not do but looked interesting.Though you are on a remote island and the resort is eco friendly you still feel you’re pampered and in luxurious surroundings. We have been to many cookie cutter, fancy resorts and this was just the opposite. Intimate, warm and welcoming in every sense!
Azul Paradise is a beautiful, small, eco-friendly resort in a quiet location near Bocas in Panama. Beginning with a friendly welcome at the airport, we had a wonderful, peaceful experience. The staff go out of their way to help and the accomodation is great. I would recommend this for people wanting a quiet, low impact vacation who understand what the rustic life entails and are realistic in their requirements. A hiighlight for us was a visit to the small indigenous community of Salt Creek. Please consider making a donation to the school there. It was lovely and we will be back. Thanks to all for a great time.
